VISD ANNOUNCES ENHANCEMENTS TO GRADUATION CEREMONIES FORMAT FOR 2024

Victoria Independent School District is excited to announce enhancements to the format of this year's graduation ceremony, set to take place at Frost Field at Memorial Stadium.

The modifications aim to enhance the overall experience for graduates, families, and guests while ensuring a safe and memorable celebration.

VISD BOARD OF TRUSTEES ACCEPTS RESIGNATION OF SUPERINTENDENT, INTERIM SUPERINTENDENT NAMED

The Victoria Independent School District Board of Trustees gathered for their Regular Monthly School Board Meeting on April 25, 2024, where they prepared to accept the resignation of Dr. Quintin Shepherd, Superintendent of Schools. During the board meeting, the board appointed Deputy Superintendent Randy Meyer as Interim Superintendent.

VICTORIA EAST HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCES JOHN FORD AS NEW HEAD FOOTBALL COACH

Victoria East High School is excited to announce the appointment of John Ford as the new head football coach for the Titans. With an impressive background in coaching and teaching, Coach Ford brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to the program.

Coach Ford joins VEHS after serving as the offensive coordinator for the past year.

The Victoria ISD Board of Trustees announces the appointment of Jennifer Garnett as the new Principal of DeLeon Elementary School, effective for the 2024-25 academic year.

VISD PRE-K REGISTRATION OPENS WITH STUDENT PRIORITY REGISTRATION
